JOCELYN MEILLEUR

Hello! I’m Jo – a native Vermonter known for my humor, sarcasm, and love for dog training!

 

As a proud parent and passionate trainer, I've dedicated the last decade to enrich our vibrant dog community. I began my journey in dog sports, which transformed into a commitment to train others using fun, engaging methods.

 

I believe that training goes beyond simply teaching; it’s about building relationships between pets and their owners.

 

In my role, I’ve volunteered with local rescues and collaborated with dog professionals to enhance business operations in daycare services. I’m a firm believer that together, we can uplift our community and offer our dogs the best life possible.

I am a certified dog trainer,  and I specialize in Behavioral Dogs. Through their natural drive system, we can form better language and understanding. 

​

I also am a founding member, and owner of  VERMONT GRC. As an AKC Evaluator I'm able to conduct tests to help further give more goals for our members who want to further excel in  in acquiring AKC titles. 

​

In my own drive for continuing excellence and dogwomenship. I show my dog Kulu in conformation in AKC and in ASCA.  Kulu has already received titles for his AKC Canine Good Citizen, and his title for Novice AKC FETCH. We are currently working towards our SR 1 test.
