What GRC Means to one of our members: Clay Gerke Owner and Trainer of Coast Peak K9:

 

"GRC, which stands for Gameness, Relationship, and Control. The three pillars of the sport are also basically the three pillars of his entire training philosophy, so it is a natural fit. He is working with his own dog Apollo in the sport right now and is excited about eventually offering it to clients, particularly those with high drive breeds and bully breeds that need more of an outlet than everyday life tends to give them.

His thinking on this is something a lot of dog owners will relate to. Dogs used to roam, socialize, and sort things out on their own. That world is mostly gone now. Most dogs spend their lives in a human-shaped box that was not really designed for them.
