Join us for our upcoming Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Class at Apex VT Dog Training!

Ready to have fun with your dog while building teamwork, confidence, and engagement?

Our AKC Trick Dog Novice class is designed for family dogs of all ages and breeds who want to learn fun, achievable tricks while working toward earning their AKC Trick Dog Novice Title!
This class focuses on:
• Building engagement and motivation
• Confidence through learning and play
• Improving handler communication
• Strengthening your relationship with your dog
• Teaching foundational trick behaviors in a positive, structured environment
Dogs will work on novice-level AKC tricks such as:
• Sit
• Jump
• Spin
• Paw/Shake
• Touch
• Crawl
• Jump through arms
• Beginner platform and body awareness skills
• And more!
This class is perfect for:
Family dogs
Young dogs needing confidence
Sport dog foundations
Anyone wanting a fun activity to enjoy with their dog
No previous trick experience is required.
Dogs should be comfortable working around other dogs in a structured class environment. Food, toy rewards, and enthusiasm are highly encouraged!
At the end of the course, teams will have the opportunity to test for their AKC Trick Dog Novice Title

Oh Ratz! - APEX - Rat Club!

Inspired by the “Happy Ratters” dog sport, Oh Ratz is a fun and enriching class designed to tap into your dog’s natural instincts through scent work, hunting games, problem solving, and confidence building!
​
Whether your dog is brand new to the sport or already loves to hunt, this class is a great way to build engagement, confidence, and healthy mental enrichment in a safe and controlled environment.
​
Come learn for the first time, or come play and let your dog indulge their senses!
​
Dogs will work one at a time through fun rat-hunting inspired activities while learning to use their nose, brain, and natural drive.
​
Location: Training Room Williston

All breeds and experience levels welcome!
Spots will be limited for reach class.

Different games will be set up for the dogs to find the rats!
